   Quiz II äÁ¡¿Ï·á ¹× ¸ð¹ü´ä¾È(Çлý) ¿¹½Ã

1. The narrator is thinking of ways to send Brother Lawrence to Hell. He is thinking of putting his corrupt and 'dirty' French novel in Brother Lawrence's sight so that Lawrence will end up in Hell. But the fact that he has a naughty novel like this displays that he is not a very pious monk.

2. It is a part in "Death of a Young Son by Drowning" where the tone changes. The narrator describes a beautiful day, even though her son has died, life goes on. Perhaps her "hands glistened" because she wiped her tears, so it could be a way of unexplicitly saying she felt great sadness.

3. The narrator is saying that time is limited and we will die one day. He is convincing the woman he loves that they should love while they can and actively devour time by enjoying themselves rather than let time devour them.

4. It is a part in "Dover Beach", and there is a parallel between Christianity and the waves. As the waves/faith ebb away, the narrator is left with no system of belief, and this is why he feels confused and miserable. He hopes Christian faith can be restored in the future, like the waves come back.
