For a Good Translation

An essay analyzing the reasons why the quality of translation in our society is so low. I argue that we could improve the quality of translation by improving the work conditions of translators such as raising the translation fee which is now outrageously low. We can easily attract more talented people to the profession by raising their wage level in the market of translation. We can also encourage the literature professors to do more translation in their own fields by recognizing their translation as more significant part of their scholarship
